Delicious Whiskey Candied Bacon
True story…it’s holiday and my family requested that I create Maple Bourbon Candied Bacon. Well…I used all the bourbon to form the Bourbon Brined Turkey. SOOO…what’s a lady to do?! I know! Use Fireball instead to make Fireball spirits Candied Bacon! It’s a Christmas miracle return true
This is a pound of delicatessen sliced bacon that was cut super thick. i favor to induce the delicatessen sliced bacon as a result of it’s all an equivalent thickness. That means it’s additional equally roast while not a burnt spot here associate degreed an undone spot there.

I cut the bacon slices into thirds and place them in a very bowl. Then mixed in some Fireball spirits, sugar, cinnamon, and a few ground red pepper for a small amount of warmth.
You could definitely leave the bacon slices whole if you favor. on behalf of me I quite likeable that they were cute, bite size items. and that i didn’t feel as dangerous regarding having quite one amongst them

Ingredients:
- 1 pound thick cut bacon
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Fireball Whiskey
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Optional: 1/2 tsp ground red pepper for spice
Instructions:
- Cut the thick cut bacon into thirds and place in a bowl.
- Add the brown sugar, Fireball, cinnamon, and ground red pepper (if using). Toss until evenly coated.
- Place the bacon pieces on a wire baking rack over a lined baking sheet. Place in a 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes. Cook time will depend on how thick the bacon is cut.
- Carefully transfer to a plate while still warm (to prevent sticking) and let cool. The bacon will harden as it comes to room temp.
