Do you like chicken Parmesan, but don't love all the dishes that accompany it? Then this is often the dish for you! One pan cooked Pasta during a pan with all the sauces and chicken, making it Super flavorful. have you ever tried one plate of pasta pot before? Their. Was amazing not expecting an out sized pot of boiling water, no drying, no extra pot to scrub only one pot of pure food . 

I have dreamed and tested all types of pasta plates one pot for you all, and that i think you'll be thrilled with all the choices during subsequent month approximately . i prefer chicken Parmesan such a lot . But I definitely do not like the boring breading process, numerous plates to scrub , and the way long it can fancy make it! I dreamed of this dish a short time back, then found The rookie cookie already making an enormous version.

I chose to eliminate breading here to store calories, prescription step, and to take care of the ultra consistency of the cream. If you desperately need that Crunch breading. you'll add some Italian Panko baked bread crumbs to the highest of the plate. you'll make this one chicken Parmesan pasta in every big skillet or pot, but I always make it during a Dutch oven enameled. once I was stirring the pasta like cooking, I didn't want to stress about the liquid beam and top side. 

I am a multitude of cooking, but nobody likes to wash the burn on the sauce from their stove. If you are doing not have a Dutch oven, you'll use a wok on the inner side, or a stock pot. But I highly recommend taking the Dutch oven, they need numerous uses!!

Delicious Chicken Parmesan Pasta


  • 2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced into bite sized pieces
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 medium yellow onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 16 oz dried short-cut pasta (I used rigatoni)
  • 24 oz jar of your favorite marinara sauce (I used Newman's Own)
  • water to fill empty marinara sauce jar
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • additional dried Italian seasoning, optional
  • fresh parsley and/or basil, minced for garnish


  1. To a large pot or skillet (I used my dutch oven), add a drizzle of olive oil and heat over MED-HIGH heat.  Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.  Cook about 5 minutes, until chicken is most of the way cooked through.  Remove to a plate.
  2. Add onion and garlic to the pot and cook about 2-3 minutes, until soft.  Pour in marinara sauce, fill up empty sauce jar with water and add to the pot.  Bring to a boil, then reduce to a strong simmer.
  3. Add chicken and pasta, stir, then cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, until pasta is cooked to your liking.  Stir in parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Sprinkle remaining 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese on top of the dish and cook another 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted and gooey.
  5. Sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning if desired, and garnish with parsley or basil.
